Three V-Hawks Earn Postseason Recognition

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday their selections for the 2026 Softball All-Conference rosters. The CCAC Selects one player in each position to be a part of the “Gold Glove” team as well as a first and second team, each being comprised of 20 individuals. This year, the V-Hawks represent three of the selections.
39 V-Hawk Spring Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Wednesday the individuals that received NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. The honor is defined as a student-athlete that has been enrolled at his or her school for a minimum of one year, that is a member of a varsity team, completed at least 30 semester hours, and boasts no less than a 3.50 cumulative GPA. This award is reserved for outstanding student-athletes in the classroom.
V-Hawks Drop First Game of CCAC Tournament

CROWN POINT, Ind. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Crown Point, Indiana this week to compete in the conference's tournament. The V-Hawks missed the tournament last year, but with a strong performance this season, they made it in as a five seed to face the four seed in the first round, Olivet Nazarene. The V-Hawks fell to the Tigers through seven innings, dropping to 21-27 on the season.
V-Hawk Season Comes to a Close on the Road

CROWN POINT, Ind. -- In a must-win game of the CCAC Tournament, the V-Hawks came up just short in extra innings to fall to the Crimson Wave of Calumet. Despite a 13-run performance, the V-Hawks were unable to top the Crimson Wave, dropping to 21-28 to close out the 2026 season. With the loss, the V-Hawks still had one of their best seasons in program history.
V-Hawks Close Regular-Season with Full Series Sweep

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks finished their 2026 regular season on a high note with a full series sweep over the Indiana South Bend Titans. The team picked up three wins over the course of two games to have one of their best seasons in program history. With the win, the V-Hawks improve to 21-26 overall and 16-11 in the CCAC.

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to the field on Tuesday and Wednesday at their home park to face off against the Blue Angels of Mount Mary in a three-game series. Through the three games, the V-Hawks swept the Blue Angels, going 3-0 between the two games. With the wins, the V-Hawks improve to 18-26 on the season and 13-11 in the CCAC.
V-Hawks Soar to New Heights, Claim Two More CCAC Wins

ELGIN, Ill. -- The V-Hawks headed east for another conference series against the Judson Eagles on Friday and Saturday. The V-Hawks claimed two of the three wins over the weekend, breaking 10 conference wins on the season, the team's most since 2023. With the wins, the V-Hawks improve to 15-26 on the season and 10-11 in conference competition.
V-Hawks Stun Cougars in Final Series Game

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to the field on Tuesday and Wednesday to compete in a competition against the conference's top-ranked Saint Xavier. Going into the series, the Cougars were undefeated in conference play for the season. The V-Hawks went 1-2 against the Cougars, and their record improves to 13-25 overall and 8-10 in CCAC play. The Cougars suffer their first conference loss, now 20-1 in CCAC play.
V-Hawks Claim Series Victory over St. Francis

JOLIET, Ill. -- The V-Hawks traveled east to Joliet this weekend to face off against the Fighting Saints of St. Francis. Through three games of competition, the V-Hawks came out with two victories over the Fighting Saints, improving to 12-23 overall and 7-8 in the CCAC. The Fighting Saints fall to 29-10 overall and 15-3 in the CCAC.
V-Hawks Collect Pair of Conference Wins on the Road

WHITING, Ind. -- The V-Hawk softball team traveled to Indiana this week to compete against the Calumet Crimson Wave in a three-game series. Through the series, the V-Hawks secured two wins over the Crimson Wave. With the wins, the V-Hawks are now 10-22 overall this season and 5-7 in conference competitions. The Crimson Wave drop to 6-21 overall and 4-10 in conference.
Marissa Carter-Olson Named CCAC Player of the Week

CHICAGO, Ill. – On Tuesday morning the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced their weekly athletic honors. Each week, the conference selects the best players from each of their sports, and this week, senior Marissa Carter-Olson was named as the CCAC’s Softball Player of the Week.
V-Hawks Dominate Warriors in Double-Header, Reaching New Heights

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks softball team took to the field on Wednesday afternoon to compete in a double-header against the Waldorf Warriors. Throughout the competitions, the V-Hawks came away with two massive victories. In the first game, the V-Hawks won 18-3 in five innings, and in the second game they improved to a 21-4 victory in five innings. Following the game, the seniors were recognized for their service to the V-Hawk softball team. With the wins, the V-Hawks improve to 8-21 on the season and extend their winning streak to four straight games.

PALOS HEIGHT, Ill. -- The V-Hawks traveled east this weekend to face off against the Trolls of Trinity Christian in a three-game series against the conference foe. The V-Hawks went 2-1 in the series. With the wins, the V-Hawks move to 6-21 overall this season and 3-6 in conference competitions. Trinity Christian moves to 6-19 overall and 1-8 in the CCAC.

Throughout her time at Viterbo, she has made her mark and earned deserved recognition for her accomplishments. She wants everyone to know that female athletes are strong and capable at the highest level.

DAVENPORT, Iowa – The V-Hawk softball team returned to the field this week for a midweek conference series against the Fighting Bees of St. Ambrose. Throughout the three-game series, the V-Hawks went 0-3. With the losses, the V-Hawks fall to 4-20 on the season and 1-5 in conference competitions.
V-Hawks Pick Up First Conference Win

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to their home field this weekend to compete against the Tigers of Olivet Nazarene. Not only was it the first V-Hawk game of the year at the Outdoor Athletics Complex, but the V-Hawks also picked up their first conference win of the season. The V-Hawks are now 4-17 overall this season and 1-2 in CCAC play.
