CHICAGO, Illinois – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced their annual all-conference teams today. The first team is made up of five individuals, while the second team and honorable mention team are each made up of ten individuals, representing the best players in the conference.
17 V-Hawk Winter Athletes Earn CCAC All-Academic Awards

CHICAGO, Illinois – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Tuesday the individuals that received CCAC All-Academic Honors. The honor is defined as a student-athlete that has been enrolled at his or her school for a minimum of one year, that is a member of a varsity team, completed at least 30 semester hours, and boasts no less than a 3.25 cumulative GPA.
21 Winter Athletes Earn NAIA Scholar Athlete Honors

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Tuesday the individuals that received NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. The honor is defined as a student-athlete that has been enrolled at his or her school for a minimum of one year, that is a member of a varsity team, completed at least 30 semester hours, and boasts no less than a 3.50 cumulative GPA. This award is reserved for outstanding student-athletes in the classroom.
V-Hawks End Season in CCAC Quarterfinals

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The V-Hawk women traveled to South Bend to face off against the Indiana South Bend Titans in the first round of the CCAC tournament. Despite a hard-fought effort, the V-Hawks came up short, falling to the Titans 71-65. The V-Hawks finish their season 14-14 and 12-8 in the conference, the most conference wins in recorded program history. The Titans advance to the semifinals where they will take on the St. Ambrose Fighting Bees.
V-Hawks Continue Revenge Tour, Defeat Holy Cross

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted the Saints of Holy Cross on Saturday in the R.W. Beggs, Sr. Gymnasium. Through four quarters of play, the V-Hawks came out with another CCAC victory, marking the most conference wins in recorded history. With the win, the V-Hawks improve to 14-13 overall and 12-8 in the conference. The Saints fall to 15-13 overall and 11-9 in CCAC play.
V-Hawks Victorious over Cougars

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawk women's basketball team took to the court on Wednesday night seeking their 11th CCAC victory this season. Through the competition, the V-Hawks were able to pick up the win in a closely contested match. The V-Hawks escaped with a 60-59 win, and they improve to 13-13 on the season and 11-8 in the conference. The Cougars drop to 18-9 overall and 14-5 in the conference.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The V-Hawk women traveled to South Bend, Indiana to face off against the Titans of Indiana University South Bend. Despite their efforts, and three V-Hawks scoring in double digits, the team came up short, falling to the Titans 95-84. The V-Hawks drop to 12-13 overall and 10-8 in CCAC play. The Titans improve to 18-7 overall and 13-4 in the conference.
V-Hawks Struggle against Jaguars on the Road

UNIVERSITY PARK, Ill. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Illinois on Wednesday to face off against the Jaguars of Governors State. In their second matchup of the year, the V-Hawks were looking to sweet the series, but the Jaguars had other plans. The V-Hawks fell to the Jaguars 74-56 and drop to 12-12 overall and 10-7 in conference play. The Jaguars improve to 17-9 overall and 12-6 in the conference.

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted the Fighting Bees of St. Ambrose on Saturday for another CCAC face off. The V-Hawks came away with the 81-70 victory at the end, defeating the Bees of St. Ambrose. The V-Hawks improve to 12-11 on the season and 10-6 in CCAC competitions. The Bees fall to 11-13 and 8-8 in the CCAC with the loss.

With the win, the V-Hawks improve to 11-11 overall and 9-6 in the conference. Judson falls to 7-15 and 4-12 in the CCAC.

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks hosted the number 21 ranked Fighting Saints of Saint Francis this weekend in their fourteenth conference competition of the season. The V-Hawks came away with a major win 78-69 through four quarters of play. With the win, the V-Hawks improve to 10-11 on the season and 8-6 in CCAC play. They hand Saint Francis their third loss of the season, moving to 20-3 overall and 12-3 in the CCAC.

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- The V-Hawks took on Olivet Nazarene in another conference competition on Wednesday night. The team headed to the Tigers house and came away with a 103-63 loss. The V-Hawks fall to 9-11 overall and 7-6 in conference competition. The Tigers improve to 16-5 overall and move to 12-1 in the CCAC.

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to the court this weekend in another CCAC competition. The V-Hawks hosted the Blue Angels of Mount Mary and came away with a 96-45 dominant win. The V-Hawks improve to 9-10 on the season and 7-5 in conference competition. The Blue Angels fall to 7-13 overall and 0-12 in conference competition.

Through 40 minutes of play, the V-Hawks came out on top, defeating the RedHawks 79-61. With the win, the V-Hawks improve to 8-10 overall and 6-5 in conference competitions. The RedHawks fall to 5-15 overall and 4-8 in the CCAC.
