ASHEVILLE, North Carolina – Avery Poppe is officially a two-time All-American in the heptathlon, earning the honor again this season with a fifth place finish at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships in Asheville, North Carolina. She was the only underclassman to earn All-American recognition in the event, finishing among a top-eight group that included five seniors, two juniors, and just one sophomore, Poppe herself. Her performance also set a new school record with 4,831 points, surpassing the mark she set earlier this year.

JOLIET, Ill. -- The V-Hawks traveled to Joliet over the weekend to compete in the CCAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Throughout the two days of competition, the V-Hawks came home with 26 lifetime personal bests, 18 season bests, 14 all-conference honorees, two conference champions, two national qualifiers, a school record, and a field athlete MVP.

KANSAS CITY, Missouri – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics announced on Wednesday the individuals that received NAIA Scholar Athlete honors. The honor is defined as a student-athlete that has been enrolled at his or her school for a minimum of one year, that is a member of a varsity team, completed at least 30 semester hours, and boasts no less than a 3.50 cumulative GPA. This award is reserved for outstanding student-athletes in the classroom.

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday their conference athletes of the week honors. Each week, the conference selects the best track athlete and the best field athlete to represent the conference. This week, for the second week in a row, Avery Poppe was named as the CCAC's Field Athlete of the Week.

Each week, the CCAC selects their best track athlete and their best field athlete to represent the conference. This week, Avery Poppe was selected as the CCAC's Field Athlete of the Week.

OSHKOSH, Wis. -- The V-Hawks returned to the outdoor track this weekend for their first competition of the outdoor season. Throughout the course of the day, several individuals shined in their performances on the track and on the field. A new school record was broken, and several V-Hawks finished in the top five in their events.
