Izzy Keck Collects CCAC Field Athlete of the Week Honors

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference announced on Wednesday their weekly honors for indoor track and field. Each week, the conference honors the top-performing track athlete and the top-performing field athlete. This week, junior Izzy Keck was named as the conference's Field Athlete of the Week.

Keck is honored with this award for the first time in her career. She earns this award after a high performance in the pole vault at the Dick Hendricks Invite this past weekend in Ripon. Keck vaulted 3.70m, claiming first place out of 18 competitors at the invite.

Her 3.70m came just short of her personal best, and with a 3.70m, she qualifies for the NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships under an 'A' standard mark. Keck continues to impress for the V-Hawks.

Izzy Keck and the V-Hawks will return to competition at the CCAC Indoor Championships on Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21. Keck will be competing for the conference title in the pole vault.
