V-Hawks Compete at BluGold Invitational

ALTOONA, Wis. -- The V-Hawks headed north this weekend to compete at the BluGold Georgianni Invitational, hosted by UW-Eau Claire. At the end of the weekend, the V-Hawks finished in seventh place, falling to Gustavus Adolphus, UW-La Crosse, and UW-Eau Claire. Viterbo finished their weekend with a 774 stroke performance. Additionally, the V-Hawks finished one golfer in the top-15 with Lillia Rather tying for 13th place. She finished with a 176 shooting 94 on day one and improving to 82 on day two. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• On day one, the V-Hawks finished with a score of 379 after impressive performances from individual golfers. 
• Their 379 performance putt hem in sixth place after the first round and only 10 strokes off from fifth. 
• On day two, the V-Hawks fell to seventh place after a 395 stroke round. 
• Lillia Rather scored a birdie for the V-Hawks on day two after a four stroke performance on hole nine.

The V-Hawks will travel to Iowa to compete at the DuHawk Fall Invite on September 14 and 15.
