OMAHA, Neb. - The Viterbo University Women's Basketball team defeated Bellevue at their home court on Friday night. The V-Hawks won, 72-65, to continue their perfect record in conference play.
Kaitlyn Kennedy went off offensively, scoring a team-high 24 points, followed by Chyna Young with 12 points. Kacie Gross contributed 11 points, while Ellie Hoesley was right behind her with 10 points.
As a team, Viterbo shot 46 percent from the floor and 31.6 percent from behind the arc. The V-Hawks shot 76.9 percent from the charity stripe. Young and Gross shared a team-high five rebounds.
