V-Hawks finish eighth at CCAC Championships

BOURBONNAIS, Ill. -- The V-Hawks traveled to the Aspen Ridge Golf Course on Saturday to race in the CCAC Cross Country Championships. The 8k race brought the V-Hawks an eighth place finish, finishing ahead of Indiana Northwest, and falling just behind Trinity Christian and Judson. 

The V-Hawks were spotlighted by Micah Beise's 28:03.24 performance. He garnered a 49th place finish. Connor Martin came in next with a 30:38.02 followed by Jake Schradle with a 31:07.57. Andrew Kaja, Garrett Eick, and Ishmael Dekrahn brought up the last three spots for the V-Hawks. Micah Beise's 28:03.24 is a new personal best for the sophomore.
