Anderson secures third-straight NSAA Track Athlete-of-the-Week honor

BISMARCK, N.D. - The North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) announced its fifth edition of the Men's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week honors on Tuesday afternoon. For the third straight week, Viterbo's Jalen Anderson was selected as the NSAA Track Athlete of the Week.

Anderson became the first Viterbo 110-meter hurdler to qualify for the NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships after his performance at the Phil Esten Challenge. He finished third in the race with a time of 14.79 seconds, which hit the NAIA 'B' Provisional Standard qualifying time for the national meet. His time also set a new Viterbo school record in the 110-meter hurdles.

This is the V-Hawks' fourth consecutive NSAA Track and Field Athlete of the Week honor. Read the full release here.
