Men's Soccer lands six players on CAC All-Conference teams

The Continental Athletic Conference (CAC) announced its postseason award winners and all-conference teams today. The Viterbo Men's Soccer team had six players receive conference recognition after going 16-1-1 on the season.

Aidan Radford was named CAC Newcomer-of-the-Year along with First-Team All-Conference. Radford led the CAC in goals and points with 18 and 42, respectively. Radford also had six assists on the season and was named CAC Offensive Player-of-the-Week on September 28.

Matteo Galeotti received his first all-conference selection, landing on the First Team. Galeotti was a key member of the V-Hawk defense which only allowed eight goals all season. He was named CAC Defender-of-the-Week on November 1 and also scored five goals and had one assists for the season.

Alessandro Lopergolo was named Second-Team All-Conference for the first time in his career. Lopergolo led the conference with 10 assists for the season and also scored four goals. He was named CAC Defender-of-the-Week on October 18.

Conner Erdmann was also named to the Second Team for the first time in his career. Erdmann scored five goals on the season and was fourth in the conference with seven assists for the year.

Two V-Hawks were named Honorable Mention All-Conference, Ernesto Ascenzo and Alfie Gyurkovits. Ascenzo led the CAC with a .822 save percentage and was second in goals against with eight. Gyurkovits received recognition for the second time in his career after scoring six goals and collecting three assists for the season.
