V-Hawk Men's Golf Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- The Viterbo University Athletics Department has announced the 2026 men's golf fall schedule, featuring six varsity competitions and one junior varsity event, highlight by the V-Hawks' home tournament in mid-October.

The season begins with a two-day trip to Ham Lake, Minnesota, where the V-hawks will open play at the Augsburg Men's Fall Invitational. From there, the team heads to Hartford, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 13 for a one-day, 36-hole challenge at the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational. The schedule then shifts briefly to junior varsity action as Viterbo sends a JV squad to Waterloo, Iowa for the RedTail Fall Shootout, an 18-hole event hosted by Hawkeye Community College.

Competition intensifies in late September as the V-Hawks embark on three consecutive days of tournament play. They will tee off at the Waldorf Fall Invitational in Albert Lea, Minnesota on September 27 before traveling to Silvis, Illinois for the annual NAIA Preview hosted by St. Ambrose University, a two-day, 36-hole event that consistently draws top-tier national competition.

Two weeks later, Viterbo returns home to host the V-Hawk Fall Shootout on October 14 at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska, marking the team's lone home meet of the fall and a key highlight of the schedule. The V-Hawks will then close out their fall campaign in Notre Dame, Indiana, competing at the Saints Classic, a two-day, 36-hole tournament that will serve as the final meet before the spring season.

Last fall season, the V-Hawks went on a campaign that included two top-three team finishes, highlighted by a runner-up performance at the Viterbo V-Hawk Invitational and a team championship at the RedTail Fall Shootout.
