V-Hawks take 2nd at Home Invitational

ONALASKA, Wis. -- The V-Hawks took to the course on Sunday and Monday to compete in their home invitational. After two 18-hole round, the V-Hawks finished in second place, landing four golfers in the top ten. 

Trevor Hinz was the top finisher, tying for second place after two rounds. Ben Biskupski took fifth place, earning an eagle on hole six during the second round of play. Klyne Johnson finished in sixth place, and Ethan Thomas took ninth. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• On day one, the team struggled with the windy conditions at times, but Trevor Hinz stood strong with a 74 stroke performance, the best of the day on the course. 
• JJ Kaczynski came behind Hinz on day one with a 79 and an eagle on hole four. 
• Ben Biskupski and Ethan Thomas shot 80 and 81 respectively, and Eli Lindsey rounded it out with a 92 stroke day. 
• On day two, Ben Biskupski had the best round of the day for the V-Hawks, shooting a 75. 
• Ethan Thomas was close behind with a 77, and both Trevor Hinz and Eli Lindsey shot 78s.
• JJ Kaczynski finished with an 84 stroke performance. 
• The V-Hawks improved their team score from a 314 to a 308 on day two.
