Men take first at Titan Invitational
APPLETON, Wis. -- The Men's Bowling team took to the lanes over the weekend in Appleton, Wisconsin. Through five games and two days of competition, the V-Hawks came out on top, defeating several other schools. Not only did the team claim a championship, but the V-Hawks had the individual champion as well in Lucas Casanta.
With their individual successes, Lucas Casanta and Brayton Fandrich both earned All-Tournament honors at the conclusion of the competition.
Individually, the V-Hawks finished four of their individuals in the top ten. Lucas Casanta, Brayton Fandrich, Dominic Hutter, and Nathan Beekman all were in the top ten for the V-Hawks out of 107 total bowlers. As a team, the V-Hawks finished in first place, defeating several schools. The V-Hawks were the only team to score over 8,000 points on the weekend with a total score of 8,042. The next closest team to the V-Hawks scored 7,520 points.
