Cunitz Named Player of the Week

BISMARK, N.D. – Robert Cunitz, a Senior forward on the Viterbo University Men's Basketball team has been named the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the league announced on Monday. This is the seventh edition of the award this season, and Cunitz's first time receiving the award this year.

Cunitz, a Kendall Wis. native, led the V-Hawks by averaging 24.0 points while Viterbo went 1-1 last week on very efficient splits of 41.4% from the field, 42.9% from three, and an almost perfect 94.7% (18-19) from the free throw line. He also added 10 rebounds, four assists, and two steals.

Cunitz and the V-Hawks look to redeem their loss to Saint Xavier (Ill.) on Saturday, as they host the Cougars in a rematch on Wednesday night in La Crosse.
