V-Hawks Win Overall Title at Northwestern Invite

ORANGE CITY, Iowa -- The V-Hawk Dance Team headed west for another invitational this weekend at the Northwestern Invite in Orange City, Iowa. The competition was a two-day affair in which the V-Hawks came out with the best average overall score after two days. They defeated several other teams with their performance and set a new season best high score. 

On Friday, the V-Hawks finished in second place with an 89.58, falling just behind defending National Champions, Midland. On day two, the V-Hawks were able to surge above the 90 point threshold, picking up a 90.29 score, and taking first place in the Saturday competition. The V-Hawks won the overall competition with an average score of 89.94, just under 90 points.
