Carly Skroback named American Midwest Conference Dancer of the Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The American Midwest Conference has announced their first edition of weekly dance honors. The honors are to recognize a single dancer in the conference that performed particularly well and assisted their team in success.

This week, the American Midwest Conference selected sophomore Carly Skroback as the conference's Dancer of the Week. The West Allis native earns this accomplishment for the first time in her career. Though it is her first time earning conference honors, Skroback is no stranger to competitive success.

Last season, Carly Skroback was named the conference's Freshman of the Year after an outstanding first-year campaign. Skroback was also named to the conference's second team and later went on to earn NAIA All-American Second Team honors.

With Skroback's assistance, the V-Hawks were able to claim first place in their competition over the weekend. The V-Hawks came home with a score of 90.21 after their performance.

The V-Hawks return to action on Saturday, February 7th here in La Crosse at the La Crosse Center.
