V-Hawks Claim First Place at Opening Competition, Shatter Team Record
SIOUX CENTER, Iowa -- The V-Hawks traveled west this Saturday to face off in the Dordt University Invitational against several other teams. In their first competition of the 2026 competitive season, the V-Hawks came out on top, finishing in first place overall, and breaking their own record for highest score at the first meet of the season.
Overall, the V-Hawks scored a 90.21, defeating the other opponents in a defiant fashion. The next closest competitor scored an 85.41, five points behind the V-Hawks. Their score of 90.21 is the highest the V-Hawks have scored since February of 2025 when they scored a 91.05.
