V-Hawk Dance Returns Five All-Americans Ahead of NAIA Season
LA CROSSE, Wis -- This weekend, the V-Hawks return to the competitive season, traveling to Sioux Center, Iowa to compete at the Dordt University Invitational. In this 2026 competitive season, the V-Hawks are pleased to return five All-Americans from the 2025 competitive season. Those returning are Hailey Hotvedt, Erin Walters, Julia Steinfeldt, Carly Skroback, and Breckyn Remis.
Hailey Hotvedt returns for her fourth and final year on the V-Hawk competitive dance team. Last season, Hotvedt was named an NAIA Second Team All-American as well as a second team All-Conference selection.
Erin Walters also returns as a fourth year member of the V-Hawk competitive dance team. Walters was named an NAIA Second Team All-American in her junior and sophomore seasons, and she was named an NAIA First Team All-American in her freshman season. Walters was named as a second team All-Conference recipient in the 2025 season as well.
Julia Steinfeldt is returning this season for her third year as a V-Hawk dancer. Steinfeldt has had a decorated career, earning NAIA Third Team All-American in 2024 and NAIA Second Team All-American in 2025. Steinfeldt also earned second team All-Conference last season.
Carly Skroback returns to the team for her second season as a V-Hawk after a successful freshman campaign. In her first season at Viterbo, Carly Skroback was able to pick up several accolades. She was named as an NAIA Second Team All-American as well as second team All-Conference. Additionally, Skroback was named the conference's Freshman of the Year after her 2025 performance.
Breckyn Remis is returning this season as a sophomore member of the V-Hawk competitive dance team. Last season, Remis was named an NAIA Second Team All American. In addition to All-American status, Remis was also named as a second team All-Conference recipient.
The V-Hawks are coached by head coach Anna Luz. Luz enters her eight year at the helm with the V-Hawk competitive dance team. In the 2025 season, Anna Luz was named as the Conference Coach of the Year after leading the team to a season average of 88.42 with two scores above 90.00. Luz led the team to a 5th place finish at the NAIA Competitive Cheer and Dance Championships, scoring an 82.23.
The V-Hawks will compete this Saturday, January 24th at the Dordt University Invitational.
