Viterbo Men's and Women's Track & Field Earn USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Honors; Three V-Hawks Recognized Individually
LA CROSSE, Wis. – The Viterbo University men's and women's track & field programs have once again demonstrated their commitment to excellence in the classroom, earning 2026 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Team honors.
In addition to the team recognition, three V-Hawk student-athletes were named USTFCCCA All-Academic Individuals for their outstanding achievements both academically and athletically.
Representing Viterbo on the 2026 USTFCCCA All-Academic Individual list were:
- Avery Poppe – Nutrition Sciences
- Izzy Keck – Nursing
- Emily Ludwig – Criminal Justice
The USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award recognizes NCAA and NAIA programs that maintain exceptional cumulative grade point averages while competing at a high level throughout the season. The All-Academic Individual honor recognizes student-athletes who excel both in the classroom and in competition, exemplifying the balance of academic success and athletic achievement.
The honors reflect the dedication of Viterbo's track & field student-athletes and coaching staff to the university's mission of pursuing excellence in academics, athletics, leadership, and service.
