Having the ability to play a sport in college is rare. Having the ability to play three sports in college is extraordinary. Nicki Robinson played volleyball, basketball, and softball at Viterbo and graduated in four years with high academic honors.

"Nicki was a dedicated student-athlete, a fierce competitor, a superb talent, a strong leader, and most importantly, a good person," commented Chris Helixon who coached Nicki for her first two years."She played a major role in the softball program's resurgence. The Wall of Fame is not complete without Nicki Robinson on it."

Robinson made her first impression in a V-Hawk uniform on the volleyball court. As an outside hitter, she earned all-conference honors her final three seasons while recording 927 kills and 1,234 digs. She finished her volleyball career among the top five in school history in kills, digs, aces, and games played.

As a shortstop on the softball team, Robinson was a four-year starter. A three time all-conference selection, Robinson finished her career with a .373 batting average including two seasons over .400. She ranks among the top five in all-time batting average, total hits, stolen bases, and runs scored.

Nicki also played basketball her sophomore and senior seasons to cap off an amazing three-sport career at Viterbo.

Robinson's success in the classroom rivaled her success in athletics. She earned academic all-conference honors in 2001-02, 2002-03, 2003-04 and was named an NAIA Scholar Athlete her senior year. She capped off her career by being named the Viterbo Scholar Athlete of the Year with a 3.84 cumulative GPA.
