La Crosse, Wis. – A strong second round propelled the Viterbo University men's golf team to a tie for fourth place in the Mount Mercy Cropper Classic. The event was held at Hunters Ridge golf club just outside Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Viterbo's conference rival, Grand View won the team championship.

Burlington, Iowa – The Viterbo University Men's Golf team finished third in the Iowa Wesleyan Fun City Classic at Spirit Hollow Golf Club in Burlington, Iowa. Viterbo, which won the event in 2010 placed behind Iowa Western and St. Ambrose University.

La Crosse, Wis. – The Viterbo University men's golf team started the season out with a win in its first event of the fall season. The V-Hawks posted a win in the Madison Edgewood Invitational. The 18 team event, which was held at Glen Erin Golf Club in Janesville, Wis., was shortened to 18 holes when severe weather washed out the final round.

La Crosse, Wis. - Viterbo University senior Derrick Meier (Chilton, Wis.) has already made his final year as a V-Hawk the best single season of any men's golfer in the school's short history. On Tuesday, Meier capped off the remarkable season by being named a NAIA Second Team All-American; the first golfer in school history to earn All-America honors.
