Waterloo, Iowa – Viterbo University baseball senior pitcher Chris Dunn (Hancock, Wis.) has had one of the best seasons in school history and so it is no surprise that he once again pitched a gem tonight to help lead the V-Hawks to a 6-1 win over Grand View University to remain undefeated in the Midwest Collegiate Conference tournament.

La Crosse, Wis. – The Viterbo University baseball team would build early 3-0 leads in both games against William Penn University but were unable to finish them off as they fell 5-4 and 4-3 in 8 innings. Needing to win just one of the games today to clinch a Midwest Collegiate Conference championship, Viterbo University was unable to seal the deal on their first regular season title since 1991.

La Crosse, Wis. – Viterbo University baseball pitchers Evan Taylor (Jr. – San Diego, Calif.) and Chris Dunn (Sr. – Hancock, Wis.) pitched absolute gems today to help lead the V-Hawks to a 1-0 and 2-1 doubleheader sweep of Clarke University. The sweep keeps Viterbo one game up in first place with two games to play in the Midwest Collegiate Conference standings.

La Crosse, Wis. – Viterbo University baseball senior Blake Shepherd (Mindoro, Wis.) and junior Evan Taylor (San Diego, Calif.) were honored today with top Midwest Collegiate Conference weekly honors. Shepherd was named the MCC Player of the Week while Taylor was named the MCC Pitcher of the Week.
