La Crosse, Wis. – Sophomore Jasper Duberry (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) hit one of two free throws with 4 seconds left in overtime to help Viterbo earn a 60-58 upset win over #24 Grand View University.

La Crosse, Wis. – The Viterbo University men's basketball team opened its game with AIB College of Business (2-15, 1-4) with a 22-5 run and would not relinquish the lead as they went on to win 57-44. The win snaps a four game losing streak for the V-Hawks as they are now 7-10 overall and 2-3 in Midwest Collegiate Conference action.

La Crosse, Wis. – Despite big nights from Matt Turba (So. – Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.) and Izac Sheforgen (So. – St. Francis, Minn.), the Viterbo University men's basketball team lost their second straight Midwest Collegiate Conference matchup on Saturday afternoon in a 65-56 loss to Waldorf College. Turba led the V-Hawks in scoring with 20 points on 8-19 shooting from the floor, and also contributed 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Sheforgen followed closely with 18 points by going 7-12 while also hauling in 7 rebounds and 3 assists. Unfortunately for Viterbo, no one else supplied a lot of offense, as shown by the rest of the team only making six baskets and shooting 6-29 from the floor.

La Crosse, Wis. – The Viterbo University men's basketball team was successful in winning their first Midwest Collegiate Conference matchup against Clarke University (63-50), with Jordan Laufenberg (Fr. – Sparta, Wis.) leading the way with 16 points on the afternoon. Laufenberg was 7-10 from the field while converting his only shot from beyond the arch. Izac Sherforgen (So. – St. Francis, Minn.) led the team in rebounding with 7 and also attributed 11 points to the win. Cole Lewis (So. – Prairie du Chien, Wis.) had a couple of great passes on his way to a team leading five assists.
