Davenport, Iowa - The Viterbo men's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of their season with a 15th place finish at the NAIA Tournament Preview Invitational in Silvis, Illinois.

La Crosse, Wis. - Junior Derrick Meier (Chilton, Wis.) shot an even par 144 to earn medalist honors at the Ronnie Eastman Invitational and help lead Viterbo University to a second place finish. UW-Eau Claire shot a two day total of 591 to win the tournament for the second straight year.

La Crosse, Wis. - The Viterbo University Men's Golf Team finished 7th in the 14-team Frank Wrigglesworth Blugold Invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire.
Derrick Meier (So. - Chilton, Wis.) led the V-Hawks shooting 77-75 (152) in the 36 hole event. Meier's effort was good for fourth place overall. "It's probably the best ball striking tournament I've had in three seasons" said Meier.

Cedar Rapids, Iowa. - The Viterbo Men's Golf Team finished 12th out of 20 teams at the Mt. Mercy Cropper Invitational over the weekend.The 36 hole event was played at Hunter's Ridge Golf Club in Marion, Iowa.

La Crosse, Wis. - The Viterbo University Men's golf team dropped its opening match of the 2009-10 season in a tight battle with Winona State University in the fall version of the Cedar Creek Invitational. WSU edged the V-Hawks 298-301.
