
Lebanon, Tenn. - The Viterbo University Baseball team opened up their 2010 season this past weekend with six games in Lebanon, Tennessee. The team went 1-5 on the road trip with their lone win highlighted by a walk-off home run.

The 2010 Viterbo University Baseball team will showcase some familiar faces, but will rely on many newcomers as they look to improve on their fifth place finish in the Midwest Collegiate Conference a year ago. Along with the solid core of returning players, Head Coach Chad Miller's squad includes 11 players who have transferred to Viterbo from a previous school and eight freshmen who will be asked to step in and make a difference.

La Crosse, Wis. - The Viterbo University baseball team will open the 2010 season with a three day series in Lebanon, Tenn. On Friday, the V-Hawks will play a doubleheader against Missouri Baptist University. They will then play one game against Missouri Baptist and one game against Cumberland University on Saturday. The V-Hawks will then finish the weekend with a doubleheader against Cumberland University on Sunday. Fans are able to watch the games via video stream or live stats.

La Crosse, Wis. - On Sunday October 18, games 1 and 2 of the annual "Battle for Blood" fall series will begin with first pitch of game 1 scheduled for 1:00 PM at the Viterbo Outdoor Athletic Complex.
