La Crosse, Wis. - Viterbo University volleyball coach Ryan DeLong has announced the signing of two top notch student-athletes for the 2010 season. Lynette Benson (Forest Lake, Minn.) and Jerica Nelson (Fennimore, Wis.) have signed letters of intent to play for the V-Hawks this fall.

"This is another great day for the V-Hawks as we are getting two more tremendous student-athletes," commented coach DeLong. Like the other two who have committed, Lynette and Jerica have both played a lot of volleyball at a very high level. Both of them add significant height and a skill set that will help them be successful for us. Above all, both Lynette and Jerica are outstanding people who will fit perfectly with the V-Hawk volleyball family."

La Crosse, Wis. - Viterbo University Volleyball Head Coach Ryan DeLong has announced the signing of twotop notch student athletes for the 2010 season. Amanda Baumeister (Burlington, Wis.) and Erica Willadsen (Cochrane, Wis.) have both signed letters of intent to play for the V-Hawks this fall.

They fill positions that we were looking for and needed to fill in this recruiting class.They are very versatile and athletic players, those qualities will immediately have a positive impact on our team.I also feel that they will be great off the court as well, both in the class room and out in the community."

La Crosse, Wis. - As the old adage goes, "defense wins championships" and tonight #3 Viterbo's defense helped them get one step closer to a Midwest Collegiate Conference tournament championship as they defeated Iowa Wesleyan College 25-21, 25-18, 25-16. Viterbo advances to the MCC Semifinals on Wednesday night to face #2 Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa.
