La Crosse, Wis. – Tuesday, June 11 will mark the opening of the 19th annual Viterbo University Girls Basketball Summer League.  Twenty-nine high school teams from Wisconsin and Minnesota will be competing in three divisions each Tuesday night through July 9.   The league will culminate with tournaments on July 16 and 23.  The league is sponsored by Viterbo Women's Basketball.   Click on this link to see the master schedule for the league.

La Crosse, Wis. – The Viterbo University men's and women's cross country teams announced their eight event schedule for the 2013 season today. The V-Hawk harriers will kick off the season by hosting the Twilight Hokum Karem at the Fields for Kids on Friday, Aug. 30 in La Crosse. The nine team field will include Midwest Collegiate Conference rivals from Clarke and William Penn.

La Crosse, Wis. - Viterbo University men's basketball coach Wayne Wagner recently announced that All-State performer Christian Kennedy (Lewiston, Minn.) has signed a letter of intent to play for the V-Hawks beginning this fall.

La Crosse, Wis. – Four members of the Viterbo University track and field teams have been named 2013 Daktronics – NAIA Scholar Athletes. Honorees include Ben DiSera (Sr. – Hayward, Wis.), Hannah Livesey (Jr. – Middleton, Wis.), Sandy Gebhart (Jr. – Chilton, Wis.), and  Amanda McCarthy (Jr. – Eleva, Wis.) This is the second time DiSera has earned this distinction for track and field and the first for Livesey, Gebhart and McCarthy in track.
