Andy Lee is entering his fourth season as Head Coach of the Viterbo University Men's Soccer team. Lee led the V-Hawks to a 7-8-1 season overall and a 3-5 MCC record in his third season. In 2008, the V-Hawks qualified for the MCC tournament and advanced to the semifinals for the first time since the 2003 season.
Lee joined the V-Hawk program after spending one season as an assistant with the V-Hawk women's team in 2005. During his time as an assistant under former V-Hawk Head Coach Will Lemke, Lee coordinated recruiting of junior college and international student-athletes. Lee also coached the women's program to a runner-up finish at the National Collegiate Indoor Soccer Championships. Lee also spent the 2007 year coaching a U-17 and a U-18 team for the Coulee Region Minnesota Youth Soccer Association.
Lee also enjoyed coaching stints as the head varsity coach at Queen Elizabeth High School in Hexham, England along with coaching in the FC Milwaukee Soccer Club. While with the FC Milwaukee Soccer Club, Lee spent a lot of his time working with athletes one-on-one.
As a soccer player himself, Lee grew up playing soccer in his hometown of Newcastle, England. As a member of the U18 Northumberland County Football team, Lee helped lead his team to a National F.A. Youth Soccer Cup Championship. After finishing high school, Lee earned a soccer scholarship from the University of Milwaukee. Lee played his first two seasons at UW-Milwaukee and then transferred to Cardinal Stritch University. He spent his junior and senior seasons as a team captain and was named a Chicagoland First Team All-Conference honoree. Lee did not only enjoy success on the field but also in the classroom as he was a NAIA Academic All-American and a National Deans List recipient.
Lee graduated from Cardinal Stritch University in 2004 with a degree in Interpersonal Communication. Lee lives in La Crosse with his wife Jennifer.
