Greg Saliaras was named the V-Hawks interim Head Coach on August 30th and takes over the program in his first opportunity to coach at the collegiate level.

Although Viterbo University is his first collegiate job Saliaras brings a wide variety of coaching opportunities. He currently is the general manager and head coach of the EC Aris FC which plays in the National Premier Soccer League. He has also been the Director of Coaching for the Aris Football Academy since 2008. This academy features year around training for boys and girls of all ages. He also served as the head coach for the men's club team at UW-Eau Claire where he led the Blugolds to two national tournament appearances.

Saliaras brings 35 years of coaching and playing experience to Viterbo University. His playing days included time playing semi-professionally in his home country of Greece. After playing semi-professionally, Saliaras came to the United States to play collegiately at the University of Concordia – St. Paul.

Saliaras graduated from UW-Eau Claire in 2008 with a degree in history and a minor in business administration. He currently resides in Eau Claire, Wis. with his twin daughters Nadia and Lydia and his son Taylor.

 
Dennis Benthin
Assistant Coach: 1st Season

Dennis Benthin enters his first season as an assistant coach for the V-Hawks. Benthin joins the coaching staff after playing the past four seasons for the V-Hawks. Benthin finished his V-Hawk career having played in 66 games and scoring five goals and assisting on another three.

Benthin graduated from Viterbo University in May of 2012 with a degree in business management.
