
Andrea Tsilis is in her fourth season as Head Coach at Viterbo University.
"We are hungry for a championship. After finishing in the top half of the conference last year our expectations are high in 2012. We have a great core returning staff with Ali on the mound, senior leadership in the outfield from Kenisha and Melissa and an experienced infield. Freshmen and transfers have taken on the challenge of filling in a few positions left by our seniors from last year. We are ready to take Viterbo Softball to the next level."
Tsilis' softball resume' includes being a First Team All Conference Player and Great Lakes Region Second Team selection while starting all 4 years at the University of Wisconsin La Crosse. Tsilis was a member of the U.S.A. Athletes International Squad in 2003 which traveled to Holland and placed third in the Roper 58' Series Classic. Tsilis was also a member of the Midwest All Stars Team in 2004 that competed against the 2004 U.S.A. Olympic Team on their tour to Athens in Stevens Point, Wis.
Coach Tsilis graduated from the University of Wisconsin La Crosse in 2004 with a B.S. degree in Physical Education Teaching minoring in Recreation Management and Coaching. She immediately continued her education and completed her M.S. degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Adventure Education and Outdoor Pursuits in 2006. Tsilis is also currently employed with the Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Badgerland Council as their Camp Director.

Doug Gardneris in his third year as the pitching coach for the V-Hawks. The past two seasons, the V-Hawks pitching staff statistics have shown much improvement in every major area. Throughout the year, Doug conducts instructional softball camps, as he is the director of ALL-AMERICAN FastpitchSOFTBALL CAMPS. Doug has been a pitching and hitting instructor for middle school, high school, and intercollegiate softball for more than 25 years. Doug was inducted into the Wisconsin ASA Softball Hall of Fame as a shortstop, outfielder, and pitcher after a playing career that spanned more than 30 years.
