La Crosse, Wis. – Viterbo University men's basketball Wayne Wagner recently announced that Bangor High School standout, Connor Kaiser (Bangor, Wis.), has signed a letter of intent to play for the V-Hawks this fall.
"I am really looking forward to joining the V-Hawk basketball family and getting my college experience started," commented Kaiser. "I was looking for a school that has a reputable reputation and place that I could continue my basketball career. Coach Wagner and the V-Hawks are giving me this opportunity, and I am excited to get my degree and play basketball at such a good school in the Coulee Region."
Kaiser joins the V-Hawk basketball program after a great athletic career at Bangor High School. A four year letter winner in basketball, Kaiser left Bangor as the school's all-time leading scorer and a member of 1,000 point club. He recently played in the WBCA All-Star game and was an All-State Honorable Mention recipient. After his senior season, Kaiser was named the Scenic Bluffs Player of the Year and was a First Team All-Conference selection for the third straight season.
"While proving himself as a dynamic scorer at the high school level, what project best for Connor to the next level are his competiveness and leadership qualities," commented Coach Wagner. "We look forward to working with him on and off the floor here at Viterbo University."
Kaiser will pursue a degree in Management/Marketing during his time at Viterbo University.
