La Crosse, Wis. – Viterbo University men's golfer Shawn Keenan (Jr. – Embden, Maine) was honored today as he received Midwest Collegiate Conference Honorable Mention All-Conference honors.

Keenan earns the recognition after having a very successful junior season. He had seven top five finishes in the 12 tournaments he played this season. His top two finishes came when he won the very competitive Ronnie Eastman Invitational and the Ripon College Invitational. The Ronnie Eastman Invite was played at the very challenging La Crosse Country club. Keenan shot a 73 and a 70 to earn medalist honors. Keenan also finished 19^that the MCC Championships back in mid-April.

For the season, Keenan averaged a team low 75.5 and was the V-Hawks top finisher in over half of their tournaments. Keenan has also had plenty of success in the classroom this season as he was recently named a NAIA Scholar Athlete as well.
