
La Crosse, Wis. - The Viterbo University men's soccer program will be offering three soccer camps for youth this summer. Two of the camps will be junior boys and girls camps while the third camp will be an elite high school boy's camp. To visit the camp website click here.
The junior camps will be offered for individuals 14 and under and will run either July 5-8 or July 19-22. The cost of the four day camp is$110 and runs from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm each day. This camp will feature game-like training methods resembling those used by top class teams from around the world in order to develop technique, tactical awareness, and decision-making.
The elite high school camp will be offered July 26-29th and is for individuals ages 14-18. The cost of the four day camp is $150 and runs from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm each day. The camp is aimed specifically at the best high school soccer players in the area and will provide the highest quality coaching to prepare each player for their upcoming season. Players will be involved not only in small sided games and technical sessions, but also in daily 11 v 11 matches where they will be encouraged to adopt different tactics and formations in order to develop a greater understanding of the game.
All three camps will be run by the Viterbo University coaching staff along with guest coaches from college teams and academies in Great Britain. The camp staff will also include current V-Hawk soccer players. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and over 16 hours of quality coaching.
