La Crosse, Wis. - The Viterbo University men's golf team beat Winona State University Wednesday afternoon in a dual meet at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska, Wisconsin.

Derrick Meier (Jr. - Chilton, Wis.) was low man for Viterbo after shooting a 5 over par 76. Shawn Keenan (Fr. - Embden, Maine) and Adam Dickinson (So. - Edgerton, Wis.) both shot 78. Josh Kohnhorst (Fr. - Tomah, Wis.) was next with an 80, followed by Jason Jorgensen (So. - Onalaska, Wis.) with 83.

Viterbo freshman Jordan Kerska (Sparta, Wis.) was the event medalist. Kerska shot a three over par 74. His score didn't count in the team event because he was playing as an individual.

"If he keeps playing like that, he'll be in our top five pretty soon," said Socha.
