La Crosse, Wis. - The Viterbo women's and men's bowling teams continued to roll in Madison, Wis. over the weekend.The V-Hawk women finished in third place while the Viterbo men were sixth in the annual Warhawk Open at Badger Bowl.

Megan Jirsa (Fr. - La Crosse, Wis.) led the team finishing second in the individual competition. "Megan is just finding out how good she can actually bowl. She's having an outstanding season," said Viterbo Head Coach Jim Socha.

"I thought the entire women's team was very solid Saturday and Sunday. Rachel Schalow (Fr - Marshfield, Wis.) was great in the Sunday Baker-style format."

While the V-Hawk men struggled to get comfortable on some tough lane conditions, they also finished strong on Sunday. "These guys are really competitive. No one ever loses their enthusiasm or focus," said Socha. Matt Krueger (Fr. - Green Bay, Wis.) led Viterbo, finishing in seventh place in the indivual competition.

Next action for Viterbo is November 21-22 at the Titan Invitational in Oshkosh, Wis.
