La Crosse, Wis. - The Viterbo University volleyball team will once again be running their own volleyball club this winter and spring. Head Coach Ryan DeLong announced today that V-Hawk Power will once again be offered as one of the top clubs in the area.

There will be an informational meeting discussing Wisconsin Power and the V-Hawk Power Club volleyball program on November 4th. The location will be at the Varsity Athletic Center, on Viterbo University Campus, meeting time 7:00 pm. DeLong will discuss the programs offered, the commitment, both of time and finances, and answer any questions people might have. Tryouts for the program will be November 15th and 22nd; you can go to the Viterbo Volleyball website and find the link to V-Hawk Power for more information.

V-Hawk Power is in its third season of existence, which is a satellite club of Wisconsin Power, a historically strong and nationally recognized program. The Power program is manageable for all athletes, whether they play only volleyball or two or three sports. V-Hawk Power teams will be coached by current Viterbo coaches, along with current and former V-Hawk Players. V-Hawk Power has produced eight college athletes in its short existence, including four current V-Hawk players in Jordan Blaken (Fr. - Melrose, Wis.), Katie Flock (Fr. - Sparta, Wis.), Kassie McGettigan (Fr. - La Crosse, Wis.), and Hannah Ripp (Fr. - Merrillan, Wis.).
