Davenport, Iowa - The Viterbo men's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of their season with a 15th place finish at the NAIA Tournament Preview Invitational in Silvis, Illinois.

Derrick Meier (Jr. - Chilton, Wis.) led the V-Hawks with a 10-over-par total 152 on the par 71 Deer Run layout.Jason Jorgensen (So. - Onlaska, Wis.) was next with 159, followed by Shawn Keenan (Fr. - Embden, Maine) with 150 and Billy Pearse (Fr. - Holmen, Wis.) with 151.

"It was a great experience for the guys, going head to head with many of the top teams in the country" said V-Hawks Head Coach Jim Socha.

Viterbo will be back on the course next April. The biggest event of the season will be the MCC Conference Meet, hosted by Grand View. The winner of that event gets an automatic bid to the NAIA National Tournament which will alsobe held at Deer Run.

"I still think we have a chance to win---but we have to get better at dealing with adverse conditions," said Socha.
