Waverly, Iowa - After shooting a team total 358 on Saturday, the Viterbo women's golf team dropped seven strokes on Sunday to finish with a two day total of 723. The V-Hawks finished in 12th place of 22 teams including invitational champion Washington University who finished with a 631.

Freshman Chelsey McCoy (Brookfield, Wis.) continues to be one of the top women's golfers in the Midwest as she finished with the weekend with a two day total of 169. Senior Trish Peterson (Lewiston, Minn.) had her best weekend of the season as she finished with a two day total of 177. Freshman Lauren Lindsley (Green Bay, Wis.) and Melanie Truax (Trempealeau, Wis.) followed with a 180 and a 197, respectively. Junior Amanda Kastenmeier (Green Bay, Wis.) rounded out the scoring with a 201.

Viterbo will be in action next when they travel to Lake City, Minn. to play in the Division III Midwest Classic on September 19 and 20. The tournament will be played at the Jewel Country Club in Lake City, Minnesota.
